Learn How
From Plie to Power: Dance Conditioning Strategies is a specialized movement class tailored for dance educators, aiming to equip them with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively incorporate dance conditioning into their curriculum.
From Plie to Power is here to supercharge educators and set their students up for success in the ever-evolving world of dance.
Learn by Doing
In this movement session you will experience a strength and conditioning class designed for dancers in a typical private studio setting. Research supports strength training for dancers, however, the development of a conditioning class in a dance studio can be daunting when access to strength training equipment is limited.
This movement session will provide a template for a dance conditioning class with protocols for how to structure successful warm ups, circuits, and recovery with limited equipment. Key essential movement patterns for progressive strength development will be emphasized, along with creative discussions on exercise selection and periodization.
Dance educators will leave with new insight on practical strategies for dance conditioning and class design, along with ideas on how to integrate these elements into their current classes.
