ABOUT ME
My name is GingerAnn Neslund. I have been practicing physical therapy since 2015, and I have been dancing since I could walk. Through my practice as a physical therapist, I am committed to helping patients feel and move better, which is why I established Divergent Physical Therapy & Wellness. I wanted to escape the regulation of insurance companies so that all clinical decision-making is entirely for the benefit of my patients. I specialize in orthopedic manual therapy as well as balance and vestibular rehabilitation. In addition, I specialize in the treatment of dancers, from recreational to professional.
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Movement Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in 2012. I then went on to graduate from the University of Michigan-Flint with my clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. I currently live in Ypsilanti, MI with my partner and 3 kitties, and for fun, I enjoy dancing, sewing, knitting, hiking, singing karaoke, and spending time with friends and family. I am a member of 2 local professional dance companies: Dance Uprising (Ann Arbor) and Diversiform Dance (Rochester Hills). I also teach an adult beginning/intermediate ballet dance class at a local studio in Ypsilanti.
